Using StrideAuth
You may use StrideAuth only for lawful purposes. You are responsible for the information placed in your account, activity performed through it, the devices and browsers you use, and maintaining appropriate independent copies of critical recovery material.
Your account and recovery material
Keep your account credentials, authenticator setup, backup codes, and vault recovery key secure. An email password reset alone cannot decrypt the existing vault. If both the password and recovery key are lost, StrideAuth cannot restore the plaintext vault contents.
Free and paid plans
Core is free for individuals and for Family or Team spaces of up to five total members, including the owner. Premium subscriptions add the capabilities and limits described on the Pricing page.
Paid subscriptions renew monthly or annually according to the billing option selected. The price, billing frequency, taxes, and recurring nature of the charge are shown before payment is authorized. You may cancel through account settings or by contacting support; cancellation stops future renewal charges and paid access continues through the end of the current billing period. Refunds are provided when required by law or expressly stated at purchase.
Prohibited use
You may not use StrideAuth to:
- Break the law or violate another person's rights
- Access accounts, systems, or credentials without authorization
- Disrupt, probe, or overload the service outside an authorized security-testing process
- Distribute malware or facilitate fraud, abuse, or credential theft
- Misrepresent your identity or your authority to use shared information

Report suspected vulnerabilities to security@strideauth.com before disclosing them publicly. These terms do not grant permission to test other users' accounts or infrastructure without written authorization.
Availability and changes
StrideAuth may update the service to improve security, reliability, or functionality. Access may be limited or suspended to protect users, investigate abuse, perform maintenance, or comply with law. Material changes to a paid subscription are communicated before they take effect.
Your content
You retain your rights in information placed in StrideAuth. You grant StrideAuth the limited permission needed to host, process, transmit, and display that information solely to operate and secure the service.
Service warranty and responsibility
StrideAuth uses reasonable care to operate and secure the service, but no online service can guarantee uninterrupted availability or eliminate every security risk. To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided without implied warranties, and StrideAuth is not responsible for losses caused by misuse, unauthorized third-party activity, or failure to protect account and recovery material. Nothing in these terms limits rights or remedies that cannot legally be limited.
Ending use
You may stop using StrideAuth and delete your account at any time. StrideAuth may suspend or terminate access for a material breach of these terms, unlawful use, security risk, nonpayment, or conduct that harms the service or others.
